It seems that if there is going to be a bad stretch of road, it will be before a state line-almost as if no one wants to claim the stretch. Thanks for the tip.
We'll be in Las Jaibas manana baring unforseen incidents.
Yes, there is beach access via a road directly across from Las Jaibas- Next to Torres Mazatlan FYI- The worst part of the road tomorrow is the approx 10 mile section that starts 25 miles south of Navajoa to the Sinaloa/Sonora border. Otherwise it took us 10 hrs on a Sundey San Carlos to Maz- During the week people seem to be about 11 hours.
No, that was San Fernando, and it was the Purple Onion.
As of last April, young Dirk was putting a small RV park on his property directly across the street from the old Mar Rosa. There were even architectural drawings. He didn't do it, and we don't blame him!
Las Jaibas is one block toward town from where the old Playa Escondito was years ago. It's been there probably upwards of 10 years.
Is Las Jaibas the park right behind the restaurant that used to be the Green Onion? I understood they were building some homes on the property. Where did all the RV'rs that stayed @ Mar Rosa go? That is a lot of units.
We are in Maz at Las Jaibas -just further down the same road from Mar Villa- Good power, good water pressure and internet near the office, so it is another option for you. Just a heads up-There was a recent post , that I can not lay my hands on about power safety issues in Mar Villa- getting shocked when touching the rig , worse if the ground is wet from using the ac. If I find it I will add.
