The new foreign gasolineras have (so far) exhibited scruples about litros completos. This is a bright ray of hope however long it takes. The sad part is even though I wish tourists could somehow know which gasolineras to avoid it just isn't possible.
Residents can find out by asking taxiistas, and seeing cop cars and ambulances fill up. Someone pulling in off the carretera just has to absorb it. It's been so long since I stayed in a campground I have no idea if litros completos is even a gossip topic.
North of the border COSTCO is exemplary about maintaining zero error pumps.
Too bad the ethics of the 70's are laughed at today.
At least I can drown concerns with tacos and te de jamaica. :)
