New Mexico Rt.82, Artesia to Alamogordo ?
Hi all. Will be heading west in June in our 32' Class'C' pulling a Jeep Toad. How is this route? :h

Leaving Cloudcroft going west, there is a sign that says, "Trucks over 11 tons without retarder brakes prohibited on US 82 west of Cloudcroft." There's a reason - 16 miles of 6% with some 7% thrown in for good measure. There are two runaway truck ramps spaced fairly far apart. Be careful in a gasser with a tow'd.
