north pole ny to bennington vt where to stop at lake placid
stopping in lake placid( or Saranac lake) for a few days. any suggestions on where to stay that is not too much out of the way

- Stay at the North Pole Resorts. Jim and family are friendly, their facilities are clean and they have a well stocked store. Great trout fishing on the Ausable river that flows by the campgrounds.
- We're partial to North Pole Resorts in Wilmington, 8-10 miles outside of Lake Placid. The 100 Acre Woods side is the newer section with 50A and pull-through sites.
