The roads are good, just expect rain. If it is not raining you got lucky.

Be aware there will be delays this summer. WA DOT is replacing the Elwah River Bridge AND doing major construction on 101 around Lake Crescent. You will probably be detoured to highway 112/113 West of Port Angeles. No problems with that road if you stay patient and slow down--it's pretty narrow. LOTS of log trucks, and they'll all be detoured with you. Enjoy the trip!

Yes, it did dead end, then I believe they fixed the bridge. Some people come across the Moclips highway from US 101 south of Amanda Park. There was a bridge missing for a while. Took this route many years ago.

Coming from the north on 101, the cut off from Humptulips to Copalis Beach is fine then north on 109 to Moclips. From the south on 101 from Hoquiam take SR-109 west of town and stay on 109 all the way to Moclips. Your question doesn't matter because SR-109 dead ends 9 miles north of Moclips in the quaint village of Taholah.

Worst part is a bridge on 101 when going south before the Hoh rain forest! Skinny & on a blind corner...

Video of WA 109 is coming in from Hoquim. WA 109 coming in from the north is much narrower and curvy.
