- rx2teeExplorerThe more I look at it the more I like Yampa River State Park.
We may just drop the trailer there and drive to F.M. Light and Son's in Steamboat Springs.
Thanks for all the comments from everyone. - EsoxLuciusExplorerIsn't there a bunch of BLM land between Craig and Meeker?

You mean between those two towns?
Give or take 20-30 miles.
Driving from Gros Ventre Campground in Grand Teton to Norwood, CO and just looking for a spot to spend the night.
The Yampa River State Park looks nice. We don't mind spending $20 but we are 53' long and we don't really want to unhook just for overnight. Maybe a pull thru at the state park would work well.
I thought soomeone might know of a wide spot out of the way and fairly safe. - 2oldmanExplorer II
