Depends entirely on how efficient and large the auxillary cooling fan is. If I was in the financial position to buy one and wanted one, a side breather would be my first choice.

    I'm not on either count.
  • Thanks for bringing it to our attention. I have notified friends in the area and they will look at it ASAP.
  • Our friends have decided to go have a look, It seem this is a short sale to pay off a bank re-po.
we wait to see what will happen.
  • I looked up the address on google-street view. It shows a dealer with several Class A mhs for sale. Looks legit to me. A lot of scammers will not put a phone# or street address in the add, just an email.

Mine doesn't. we don't clog the radiator either.
  • Why would it be a scam? It’s priced appropriately. Just because most are trying to squeeze every dime, doesn’t mean this is a scam.

Since the economy is “ wonderful”, just like 2005 all over again, they probably can’t sell it, since everyone is buying new.

  • I suspect it is. Couple nice things about it, one, it's a pre Tier 4 engine so no DEF, no heavy electronics either. It does have EGR on the engine, but thats it. Second good thing is, it's a side breather, not a rear breather. Much easier to work on if you do your own maintenance and if you don't, your shop rates (hours) will be much less because components are easier to access.

Current Class A's are mostly rear breathers and all are a PITA and expensive to work on. I bet it rocks too. We have a friend with a Prevost and it will run triple digits. Same motor and transmission.
  • Auto Resource LLC has it, and others, advertised on rvtrader.com.
    It may be for real...
  • The quickest way to tell if it's a scam is to call them up and tell them you want to look at it tomorrow. If it's a scam, they'll start giving you all sorts of reasons you can't look at it:

It's in the shop have work done so it's ready for the new buyer
Their brother, or mother or someone has borrowed it
It's in secure storage at a military or government storage area where they're not allowed
