    Great pictures, thanks for sharing them. We haven't been there in many years but we're thinking of doing a Maritime provinces trip next summer. :C

    I looked at your profile and it brought me back to the first time we went to PEI...... We were living in Montreal (working at Air Canada).

    Actually I worked for one of the companies that powered some of the AC aircraft.

  • Great photos....soooooooooo exactly how crowded were campgrounds in August. We prefer off season camping and the cooler weather.

    It is on our list.

    We were at Sunset Campground in Cavendish and it was crowded. But I have to say Cavendish Beach is a very popular destination for tourists. We toured the island and found campgrounds a lot less crowded.
    As for weather, we couldn't have asked for better.....in the 70's, low 80's, and sunny all week.:)
