40 foot MH towing a Jeep
What is the road like on route 220, Rawlins WY to Casper WY, then to Hot Springs SD on route 18 between I-25 and Hot Springs SD? I have traveled in this area (LUSK) before but it has been awhile. In Hot Springs it looks like route 18 has a bypass.
Also anybody in the Custer State Park area know if Lame Johnny Road has been paved??
And what if any is the snow situation on the higher elevations on I-80 near Rawlings WY, (the Lincoln Rest area)??
I am heading to Custer State Park Buffalo Corrals on the South East side of the park from Calif. And I normally take I-80 to Sidney NE (Cabela’s oh yah!!) but this time I just need to get there shortest route (economy no Cabela’s). The route via Casper to hot springs cuts out about 100 miles or more. From Hot Springs I will go north on route 79 to route 36 to the Wildlife Loop Road if Lame Johnny was paved I would save about 30 more miles.
