route through Hermosillo?

We will be on our way to Mazatlan next week and would like to know if the construction is finished (any detours) and if the route is still the same on the east perifico.. Appreciate any info from anyone who has travelled through in the last week.

We went through Yesterday! You still turn at the same intersection on 15 as always. The difference is that they are routing The South bound traffic to the right further along where We used to swing left followed by a right. It still ends up at the intersection and light at the base of the Hill heading up to the Prison etc.

Came through there on Saturday. No problems, except for the afore-mentioned detour. Just bear in mind the left turn shortly after you enter town - well-marked for Guaymas and follow the signs for Guaymas. Just remember when you get down toward the overpass that is straight in front of you, that you need to keep right to go around the ramp, then stay left, as you will be making a left at the light.

2 weeks ago the "by pass" was under construction with an unmarked detour; right turn to next street, left turn to next street and another left to get back on the by pass. But this may change as the progression of construction wallows down the corridor. This is before the prison area going South.

Straight thru town is a good option, always has been, unless something has drastically changed.
