Route to Gulf Shores State Campground
We are going to Gulf Shores State Campground in April. I would like to know what it the best way to get to it from East I-10 coming from tallahassee.

- When you get into Gulf Shores, your GPS will want to take you on a little small twisty road from Hwy 59 to the beach road. It is easier to stay on 59 to the beach road pulling a camper. Not pulling a car, they little twisty road maybe a minute or two quicker.
One exception would be if you are going when they have a festival at the intersection of 59 and the beach road. They have a couple of those a year. 
At the dog park.- Be careful walking small pets there in wooded areas.
- The baldwin beach express is the exit east before hwy59. We take that and it runs into 59 about half way down.
- I take Hwy 59 south right into Gulf Shores (Gulf Shores Parkway).
Go to the dead end at the beach and turn left. - According to Google maps:

Follow I-10 W to Ensley. Take exit 7 from I-10 W

Take FL-173 S/N Blue Angel Pkwy, FL-292 W and AL-182 W to your destination in Gulf Shores
