The way its worded it looks like no one with an RV would be allowed to drive through a tunnel. The fact the propane tanks did not ignite gives this guy a way to fight this in court I would think. Heck a tank load of regular gas is a dangerous cargo as well. What about hydrogen fueled cars? Ones made by Hyundai are starting to appear. Or a vintage Ford Pinto?
RV propane tanks are designed to be safe on public roadways, the tunnel is a private roadway.
On edit i see the issue was the chip wagon it was pulling. Still that was totally un-involved. He maybe should be fined for taking that into the tunnel, but it was not the cause.
