RV Migration

It looked like the north to south migration was in progress today. I drove up I35 from Kansas City to Minnesota today and we must have seen 100 RVS headed south. Not towing myself today, brought DW up to visit Mayo Clinic.
  • We are just about the Half Way point between Snow Country and Endless Summer Land!
Just checked in for the evening at Seven Feathers in Oregon!

There was a fellow checking in who was headed North to escape the Heat for Xmas!

Others like Us are going South! The place is filling up for tonight!

A lot of snowbirds arrived early this year! Hmmm, maybe they know something about an early winter coming to those left up North?

I hope the forecasts I have seen are NOT accurate.

Stayed up in Bismarck ND some weeks back. They had an article posted in the hotel lobby claiming the forecast for the coming winter there in ND would be among the worst winters in all history for the state, with record amounts of snow and cold.

Wish I were gonna snowbird too, with that kind of forecast.
  • Yep-we live near the I 15 corridor and there are plenty of rigs headed south.

It seems like winter starts earlier every year. :(

  • Yep, went out in the boat yesterday and there's a steady stream of trawlers headed south.
  • Yes, it's that time of year.

I wish I was one of the southbound RVers. :(
