Good info Croft. It's sad that the east coast is being neglected. It has so much to off apart from the gulf waters and beaches. Driving in northern Tamaulipas does present a problem, but like all things, there are easy work arounds. My personal experience and that of others who travel the east coast frequently, is that south of Cd. Victoria, you are in good hands.

We stayed at CocoAdventura for a week in 2011. There is room for several RV's in a parking lot along the beach with hookups (20 amp) for at least two. There is a nice pool and beach. The pool is open to the public for day use (for a fee) and is included in the price of the RV park.
