Just left restaurant El Tiburón in La boquita beach. Passed by and decided that was the restaurant for us. Made a u turn and arrived. Got out of our vehicle and people we’re scattering. Six Policía Municipal arrived sirens blaring. Heard people standing yelling they need an ambulance. We were going in to restaurant and they were carrying a lady out. She was shot in the leg. Bystander.
Police sealed the crime seen with tape nobody out or in. They were investigating the crime scene. Spoke with one officer he told me that the shooters left and they were in pursuit. One of them was shot in shoulder. We were allowed to leave and we are now at Playa Las Brisa recovering from the scare.
Second time in Mexico we have missed a shootout in Mexico. We do it go to places we feel are dangerous. We must have someone looking down on us.
I will say the police were very profesional,efficient and courteous.
