Tampa, FL to Fredericksburg, VA

We are planning a trip from Tampa, Fl to Fredericksburg, VA. Suggestions on route(s) would be appreciated. We will be travelling between 5 to 6 hours a day. Recommendations on overnight stop overs & sites would be great. We are Passport America members so we would like to take advantage of the discounts.

    An alternative to I-95 is stay on US301 N. to Statesboro. There are 2 parks there Parkwood RV Park and Beaver Run. 6 hrs from Tampa. You can then stay on US301 N to Roanoke Rapids NC. We stay at Carolina Crossroads RV Park near 301. 6 hours from Statesboro. Might take a bit longer than the map says because of towns but we prefer that route vs. I-95 if we have plenty of time. Carolina Crossroads is 2.5 hours from Fredericksburg. Don't know if either park takes PA.

    I go US 301 north to A1A past Jax and then over to I95.

    Usually my first night is at Kiki rv park, PPA, in Kingsland.
    2nd night in Yemassee, SC, either Oaks??, again PPA or kOA, then South of the Border at Dillon, SC. IIRC, next at Green Acres, Walterboro SC..not PPA.

    I don't drive many miles a day.
