Texas Panhandle US83

Question

Has US83 between Perryton and Canadian been worked on to make it a better road to travel on than it was 2-3 years ago when last I ventured that way. And had the passenger window shade bounce loose - thank goodness it wasn't mine - the copilot was excited enough for both of us.

As from being from that neck of the woods the worst Texas road is better than the best Oklahoma road you have to pay to drive on.

I live in Perryton. We were gone all summer, but did come home and had to drive to Memphis Tenn. We drove through Canadian from Perryton. Yes it is better. Wife was driving and she just told me it was better. Oil field traffic still running. but nothing like it was. Hopefully they have done more work.
