Did the route korbe suggested last year. Nice drive. Loved Lava Beds Nat'l Monument. So cool walking through lava tubes! Stayed at the fairgrounds in Tule Lake. On the way, there is a nice little RV park, Day's End, in Standish, CA if you need to stop.
