You won't get a ticket but you will be told to move on.
What is your specific? I cannot imagine a skilled, experienced policeman saying, keep driving and fall asleep at the wheel.

If you're tired then you should have stopped at a safe location before you feel you have to pull over on a highway shoulder. FYI, this also applies to people who pull over to the shoulder to use their cell phone in a non-emergency.
Parking outside of an urban area
43(1) This section applies only to a highway that is outside of an
urban area.
(2) A person driving a vehicle shall not park the vehicle on a
roadway when it is practicable to park the vehicle off the roadway.
(3) Notwithstanding subsection (2), a person driving a vehicle
shall not park the vehicle on the roadway, parking lane or
shoulder of a provincial highway except where
(a) the vehicle is incapable of moving under its own power,
(b) an emergency arises, or
(c) it is otherwise permitted by law.
