US 31 going north from Indy

Question

We are headed to Michigan next week and the GPS is taking us to Indy then North on 31. Looking at it on the map it appears to be a nice divided 4 lane road.

Would you tow up this way or use I-75? GPS says 31 is 5:45 from Cincinnati, and I-75 is 6:15??

Take the shorter 31. It is a good road.

Where are you heading?  31 and 75 don't intersect until Mackinaw. Tell us where you'really heading and we may be able to improve your route...

Don't go up I-75.  LOTS of construction.  Dayton area, then south end of Allen County to Lima, and 40 miles of construction from Findlay to Toledo.  Lots of crashes in that section, and it ties up traffic for hours.
