Vicksburg bypass??

Question

Traveling south on HyWy 61 towards vicksburg. As you go over bridge you face a large upward climb. Just before the hill ther is a turn to right which states "port of Vicksburg."  Will this route bypass the hill and will it allow a 26 ft class C towing a jeep liberty???

I am not familiar with a by-pass in Vicksburg.  Everything in Vicksburg is on a hill!!  I would not think you will have any problems with a 26' C with toad.  Enjoy the city.  Lots of history there.

I have been through Vicksburg many times.  I have never considered hills a problem.  There are hills but not very long.

If you are talking about the bridge over the Yazoo than yes coming out of the flat delta that hill looks large but I can assure you that it is not bad you can make it easy.  That road to the port is Business 61 and it will take you through industrial areas and then right through downtown Vicksburg, not something I would want to do it an RV.  Bus. 61 is definitely not a bypass.
