Washington to Vermont
Looking at traveling from Washington to Vermont in early December. Will be traveling mainly on RT 80. Anyone make this trip this time of the year? Needing hookups every other night to recharge and LP....

x3 or x4 or whatever on it being quite difficult to find open campgrounds, and those finding more than electric (and possibly dump stations/water fill stations) in those that are open. I think there are a grand total of three campgrounds open in the entire state of Vermont in December: Shelburne camping area (in Shelburne, naturally); Crown Point Camping Area (Perkinsville); and Running Bear campground (Ascutney). It's not clear to me how many of these accept transient campers during the winter.
Finding LP isn't difficult, at least around here; many hardware stores etc. sell LP year round. I actually have to drive further from my home to get gasoline for my motorhome than I do to get LP.
