yup, I stayed in it last fall. if you like a big gravel parking lot its great now haha. it will be realy great again in 10 years or so when the trees grow back. hopfully they bring a bunch of 10 footers in and plant them maybe that will shorten the time line... they had to remove and clear cut a huge area to double the size of the campground.

just looking at the web page they took down a lot of trees in the other two main campgrounds also.. granted a lot were dead trees but they also did selective thining. now they recomend bringing a shade shelter for your site. guess thats good for the solar...

either, but if you can get into Wapiti I would take that one right now as it will be much nicer. Whistlers was just expanded and improved but as a result a lot of trees were taken out and it won't be that beautiful place we all loved for quite awhile again.. but that also depends on if you need full hookups or not. whistlers has full hookups , Wapiti just has power.
