Wish I were heading north
Three of the last five years we have pulled our Scamp to Alaska. The first year, we had a 16 footer which we sold in Alaska once we had completed our travel plans. On the way home we went by Backus, MN and picked up a 19 foot 5th wheel which has twice made the trip.
I would really like to be going again this year, but my husband wanted to visit the Outer Banks and then head up to the Eastern Canadian Provinces. Due to family issues, we will not be able to do that either.
Today we got our Scamp ready for a 2-3 night trip to Hammond, LA where one of our grandsons will be playing baseball. As I was working on it, I got to thinking how much I wish we were making the trip to Alaska.
With that in mind, I will be reading everything that is posted here and I will be happy to answer any questions about which I have knowledge. I hope those of you who are making the trip have a wonderful time.
