- 5thwheeleroldmaExplorerMight be rough for a few months, but then when they realize we have a real president who stands up for us, it will be much safer.
- 2_RetiredExplorerI wouldn't go unless I had to. If I was a Mexican citizen, I would have very little to be happy about right now. Trump has shown our country nothing but contempt and disrespect. BTW, parts of Mexico (just like every other country, including ours )are wonderful. Most of the people, like everywhere, are terrific.
- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerWanna be sure to end any conversation or question amiably? Doesn't matter what you think or believe, when asked or the subject comes up I raise my head, and squeeze my nose. This brings laughter, and the end of it all. Who cares what you really think down here? The object is to enjoy a vacation not to engage in a debate. Be smart and make friends not adversaries. The Trump issue is minor potatoes anyway. By being here, spending money, offering tips and celebrating Mexican culture you are the best ambassador Mexico or the USA could ever hope for. Come and enjoy! Don't microanalyze insignificant trivialities.
- DutchmenSportExplorerNo one can tell yet what to expect. One thing is for sure, it will be interesting to see everything unfold. Life is a journey, enjoy the ride! Only death is the end.
- downtheroadExplorerThis tread won't last.
But, anyone who thinks that anything will really change is .....well, good luck. - azrvingExplorerI guess I dont understand the question. I haven't rv'd in Mexico but cant understand how Mexican people would now be dangerous to visitors when an American president now expects people to enter the USA legally. Seems strange since I have American friends with Mexican heritage who also want people to enter the USA legally .....LIKE THEY DID.
No, I cant believe the the decent people of Mexico are going to harm anyone, because they haven't harmed anyone yet. The same people who would have harmed you in Mexico or the USA will still harm you in either place. - padre1944ExplorerDon't go if you're concerned. Should get better here, which is what our president should be concerned with.

I guess I'm just stupid. What would who won the US President have to do with Mexico? They have their own President, their own laws, and immigration system. Nothing the new President does should affect the people inside another country.
Other than maybe to help keep them safe. - gboppExplorer

Well said MEXICOWANDERER! :C - Cloud_DancerExplorer IIOne has every right to have a reasonable expectation, specially if it's based on reason.
