Yellowstone to Los Angeles!

Question

Hi everyone,

We'll be in Yellowstone the beginning of July, then heading home to Los Angeles. Can anyone recommend an easy overnight stop about half way home? We're only planning on one night/two days to get back.... Traveling in a motorhome... Thanks !

The KOA in Salt Lake City is lovely. Very large, very level, paved roads, easy freeway access. We stayed there this summer and would stay again.

I should have mentioned it is a really long drive from Salt Lake to LA. A second stop in Mesquite or Las Vegas would probably be a good idea. It takes us 5 hours to drive from Las Vegas in the MH with toad to LA.

Thanks for the campground referral... I'll check it out. We don't have a toad, and have to be back on a certain date, Salt Lake KOA might be the best choice. ...

It's a long haul from Salt Lake City to LA.  If you set on two days I would try to get closer to Zion NP by the end of the first day.  I believe there is a KOA near Cedar City, UT.
