I took a sidetrip to Atlin this past year in 2013, my second time visiting there (first time in the camper) - over 19 years since the first visit in June 1994.
The weather finally held up well enough this time whenever I had the opportunity to go while in the Whitehorse Area, the other possible times I could go the weather did not cooperate at all as I couldn't imagine driving that road in real crappy weather.
Parts of the Yukon side of Atlin Road is nicely improved and wider in some spots, however the BC side of the road hasn't changed much, but it was sure nice to visit Atlin again.
