For the last 9 years I've traveled for about 6 months a year in my truck camper. I keep a good website that includes a yearly map of where I camped. I finally combined all these 540 sites into one map. I stay almost exclusively in government (Federal/State/Local) campgrounds, so there are very few commercial sites. Occasionally I boondock and there are about 30 of those sites. The map also has brief details (# sites, environment, cost, etc.) about the campsites.You can check it out here. Thanks for the great map! I've stayed at many spots that I learned about from you over the years. I don't fish, but we travel the same areas and seem to prefer to same type of campgrounds. Aren't we fortunate to live in the West?

We are headed up to the same area of the coordinates you posted, South of the Williams area. I have never been to that area for camping. We stayed at the GC railway campground last year for July 4th but want to boondock this year. My question is, are the forrest roads wide enough in that area you posted to pull a 26' toy hauler? Are there areas or forrest roads i should stay off of?

Unfortunately, there is no "how to get there" on my map, like on uscampgrounds.info . :(

You would need to use the GPS coordinates with Google maps and then select "Directions". The last paragraph of text explains how to get the GPS coordinates for any point. If you have trouble doing this, let me know the date of the campsite and I'll post the GPS coordinates.

Problem with heading east is that it is hot in summer. You can always go up in elevation in the mountain west if it gets to hot in the lowlands.
