Anyone seasonal in New Jersey

Specificly central jersey And a little north.. We are looking for a campground realitivly close to Pt Pleasant, Seaside and great aventure. also it would be nice to find a place with a nice pool and activities for the kids.. we are trying to keep it under a 2 hour commute from The Hoptacong area.. any opinions?
  • Depends on what you are looking for...

    The place we like is

Its very close to great adventure. Its right off rt 195 for easy access to the parkway, shore points, nj turnpike..etc...

    seasonals are negotiable in price...

You can do weekends only and leave your camper onsite... We do 8 weekends only for about $550 during march - may or sept thru november

we are looking to do the seasonal thing..something we could be very close to the shore and all that I has to offer. I was looking into timberland lake, but I found so many terrible reviews of the place, I have to admit im pretty leary.. tell me a little more about the campground and your experience.. if you don't mind
  • Reviews are nonsense. Owners are great and will do anything for you...We stay in the back area...100 and left of that. Its more open although you back to the woods. They are newer sites too.

    People are nice.

I know the sites and campgrounds here. I live in howell.

Story... Was hanging down at another site. Big fire and many people from neighboring sites. One frind we met had here kids sleeping in the camper. Well he must of woke up and started wondering.

We it was found out he was gone, the owner locked down the campground. All the people in the campsite searched for him till he was found. It was like a huge giant family. We found him in like 10 minutes..

    Great feeling..

Anyway Im from north jersey originally. Pompton lakes born and raised. Had boats at hopatcong and greenwood lake... Moved down here in 95...

Any other places you see online ask me and I will let you know.
