Anyone stayed in Cg 3, #136 at Roaring river state park

I'm looking at going to Roaring river in Missouri in April. I've stayed in CG #2 before but want to be closer to the water. Looking at spot #136 on google earth it looks like a nice spot. It's double the money since it is a family spot, but it will give my son somewhere to ride his bike and play. I'm looking for easy river access, the other CG had a drop off to get to the river. Thanks in advance.

It's a beautiful area, but be aware that if there are heavy rains it is called Roaring river for a reason and the camp grounds can and will flood.

I booked it earlier today, I think it will be great. Lots of room for my son to ride his bike and play.

We camped in CG#2 over the summer. We looked at site #136. It is flat and better access to water. It may be a drop off but less trees for fishing. Guys were catching fish early in the morning!
