Yes. See the website below. If are not in a blue-colored county you cannot go. And from what I've read and heard they are checking. I see no reason to violate their rules as it's for the safety of everyone.

I don't need to travel to Vermont for the foliage; I'm already here. :BThere are self-quarantine requirements for travelers coming from many areas. See this link for details. If you're from a county in the northeast where the infection rate is sufficiently low, no quarantine is required; there's a map of which counties meet this requirement that's updated weekly.

Well scratch that. Our county is in the 400 to 799 column. Which doesn’t make sense cause we currently have 20 positives and population of 100000.

With all due respect, no, it is not wrong, it is intentionally skewed. It is not meant to be a definitive case count, it is a guide to who’s in a safer or riskier area.

In dealing with a deadly virus I doubt anyone could fault them for wanting to be cautious.

Again “... assess an estimated number of active cases...”.

I think John Hopkins is full of it. I don’t have the time to go through and look at a bunch of counties. I did pick hillsborough county new hamphsire since it’s where one poster is from. 222 cases per million. Should be pretty accurate as there’s 400000 residents. Then oxford courty Maine. They have 5 cases. 50000 residents so that’s 100 per million. I’m starting to think Vermont may destroy their fall tourist season based on bs info. Whether it’s intentional isn’t something I could guess.

I don't think he's implying anyone is "lying" here but that numbers can be manipulated to get the result you want, following the "Statistics don't lie but statisticians do" mantra.
