ItsyRV got it right, when your in Yuma the only two places to go is Old Mexico and California, and neither has the welcome mat out for me. I prefer to go to places that are more welcoming.
Because going south would put them in Mexico. Their next stop going north is Quartzsite which many consider all the way south. So, going north may be only the compass direction and not a destination.
