Arnold AFB FamCamp, TN

Any one have any input or thoughts on Arnold AFB FamCamp for a night or 2 in October? Reviews sound ok, but some how leave a nagging question in my mind. One source says concrete pads, another says gravel. Doesn't seem to be a check in office or gate. Just not sure.
Sure would be convenient for our needs.

It's been 25 years, maybe a bit longer since I stayed there. Don't recall much about it.
