Austin, Texas

Hello Folks,

We are looking for recommendations for campgrounds in the Austin, TX area for a few weeks to a month in January. We have a 45' motor home so it would have to be big rig friendly.

All suggestions are welcome.

Thanks.

  • Crestview RV in Buda has RV sites. We stayed there last year for 4 months while our home was being built. It is just south of Austin, right off IH35. The rate last year was $500.00 a month which included electric. Cabelas is across the street, Walmart, HEB(grocery store) and plenty of nearby restaurants. Good luck,KB

  • Thank you all for your suggestions. I will check these out.

    Safe travels,

  • Look into the Leander Texas KOA (North West of Austin) and close to the Hill Country Flyer narrow gauge railroad.
