Check out the Safford area, a lot of winter visitors spend a coouple weeks-month in the spring here waiting for it to warm up back home. It will be 10-15 deg. cooler than Phx. at night 5-10 deg during the day. A few mi. E of Safford on hwy 70 is Haekel Rd. you will see a few RVs 1-2 mi. off the hwy in this area in the spring and fall. South of Safford is Roper Lake ST Park not quite boondocking but a nice place.Check out (freecampgroumds.com) for areas you might be interested staying at.
