- D___MExplorerWe stayed there many years ago. Never went back.
- CrabbypattyExplorerMy sister has a few times and love it. We will go some day so we can see Baltimore.
- Shot-N-AzExplorerStayed there once. Have no desire to return. It's not awful, but not particularly good either. There aren't many choices in that area.
- BumpyroadExplorera nice, small park right on the bay. for those with motorhomes, but won't interest you, they have pull in sites so that you can look out the windshield at the bay. in rainy weather can be a bit soggy, after all it is only a couple of feet above the water level. not luxurious by any means.
bumpy - Followin__the_sExplorerWe stayed there and loved it. Had one of the pull in sites facing the water. When we looked out the windshield it was like we were on a boat. Nothing fancy but we enjoyed and would stay there again happily.
- Doug33ExplorerI'm thinking of switching up to go to Tuckahoe State Park in Maryland. Looks like a nice "back to nature" CG with big isolated sites. They have sites available with electric, so I'll fill up the water tank at home, and just dump tanks on the way out. They also have a lot of trails for hiking and biking, so we'll bring the mountain bikes. The price is right - less than $30 a night.
- Southwind98ExplorerWe have stayed at Tuckahoe State Park on many occasions, if you get a chance might want to take a drive to St. Michael's for lunch at the Crab Claw (approximately thirty minute drive). Also some nice shops in the town. Another nice park where you were originally looking at is Elk Neck State Park, and the full hook up loop is open year round. The town of North East is nearby with nice restaurants and shops.
- Doug33ExplorerI first considered Elk Neck but they didn't have any electric sites left available for next weekend. :(
Thanks for all the feedback! - AlabamaTravelerExplorerJust wondering.........why would they call this place Bar Harbor? Bar Harbor is in Maine. We were there in June.

For the same reason they call a town in NY Urbana, when the town of Urbana is also in Maryland, Virginia and Iowa.
It's just a name.
