Rockport, Tx, weather in December

We're thinking of trying Texas next winter for the 1st time. The RGV appears to be the area to be by January as temps drop but we're hopng to try Rockport in December. Can anyone tell me how cold it gets there in December?Thanks

Mt Rushmore in a 26' Class C

We are planning a trip to the Mt Rushmore area in early May. We will be traveling in a 26' Class C motor home. We do not own a toad. Are Mt. Rushmore and other tourist attractions in that area easily accessible by motor home?
