get out and meet your neighbors, I have made myself a promise to make at least one new acquaintance each day.....been retired 10 years and have pretty much went out of my way to meet at least 1 new friend each day. It is not hard, you just smile and say hi....usually that will start some type of conversation. There is no reason to be lonely or bored, you are not on a time limit walk around meet people, invite them to your house or just talk over the back fence.
