Boondocking Death Valley?
Where are some good spots to boondock in Death Valley? Preferably near attractions--Scotties Castle, Furnace Creek, etc?

- You might want to check the discussion thread down a bit from this one. It's titled "Death Valley" and covers boondocking there pretty well.
- Mesquite Springs is good place to consider. It is near Scotty's Castle and the road to Racetrack, etc. It is sort of boon-docking since the sites do not have electricity or water (water is available near the entrance along with a dump). Pretty isolated spot and lots of places to hike if desired.
