Boondocking in Webster FL

DW and I plan on stopping in Webster, FL this Feb. We have been to the flea mkt. a few times but never boondocked there. I assume you can just show up Sunday and pick a spot across the road from the flea mkt. Do I need to contact the office first? Any other advice would be appreciated.

That spot across the street is their parking lot not just an empty field. On flea market days it is jammed packed with cars. And I have never seen an RV parked there vendor or otherwise.

You would definitely have to contact them first to park there overnight in an RV. My guess is they won't let you.

There are a ton of small inexpensive CG's in that area.
  • 1. There has always been open spaces in the boondocking section whenever we were at the flea Mkt. and checked them out.
    2. Just want to come in on Sunday afternoon and go to the flea mkt. Monday to look around.
  • We stay in the Webster Travel Park in the winter. We don't even see vendors showing up the night before.
  • ANYWHERE you plan to park overnight in Florida in February you NEED to call ahead. Many/most places are packed full.

Same for S. Carolina and Georgia but not quite as bad.
