boondocking thread right now on the Truck Camper forum

In my 10 years on RV.net (note my induction date on left) I have never seen those who KNOW spill their guts as is happening right now on the truck camper forum. Skip on over and enjoy the ride. You cannot buy this experience.
regards, as always, jefe

Worse, actually- it's pretty much degenerated into "freeparking wherever you want in Cities without getting caught/busted/told to move along"...

Far cry from boondocking, which I was raised to think actually happens in the boondocks. :h
  • We have a large teardrop trailer which has a some what similar form factor to a TC, but with two doors :), you see similar stories on the T&TTT forum. The advantages of a small trailer or TC is that you can be more adventurous. Our tear was designed for extended boondocking and spent eight days on the north shore of Lake Superior.

That is a good show of where the confusion begins with what is what. Some people have an aversion to the world of Telephone Poles and Sidewalks and others can't get comfortable unless they can see them, or at worst, drive home at night on a route that doesn't have Street lights.

Yeah, some good information going on over there and to be honest, it is a frequent topic.
