I live in Dandridge and this place is beautiful. Pricey too but way nice. Sure it may not appeal to everyones idea of camping but some folks have invested big money in their rigs and don't want branches falling out of trees or critters scurrying accross their roofs. The view is FABULOUS, sites have stone fireplaces, are spot on level, they have a boat launch, Douglas lake is in the top 5 of bass tournement lakes and the area is far enough removed from the crazyness of Pigeon Forge to be enjoyable but close enough to go visit. Friends are comming down the end of March and are looking at staying there and we may join them there for 2 days before heading to Dade City FL. They have what they call "buddy" sites where you can face each other with a central fire place. From what I saw I think the size of the sites are quite generous. There is a nice TVA camp ground a little ways away too, if you can get in. its busy.
