This is your best choice. It puts you within a few miles of the Marriott. It is part of the Del Mar Race Track / Fair Grounds.
Be aware though that at certain times of year they reserve the whole campground for Race Track people. Check on that.
Correct. They close May 15 to the public and reopen on Sept 15. I know because I have a reservation for Sept 20.
I called them today and the recording said they will start taking reservations again after sepr 7th I put it on my calendar to call them.
