Camping without the kids part 2: TN, GA & NC

So, day 3 was the start of the meat of our trip. This was the day we were heading to Chattanooga which we've been looking forward to for a while now. Neither of us have visited Tennessee before, so this was a long awaited trip for sure. Our plan was to spend a few days exploring Chattanooga, do a day trip into Georgia, and then spend a few days in North Carolina visiting family.

Checkout the video below to see the highlights of the 2nd leg of this trip.

So, in the end this was an awesome 8 days. I joked with Sandie that this was the best 8 days we've had in 12 years. We had a blast together, saw so many new things, and had some very peaceful/quiet drives (and we don't get too many of those.

What -No Gatlinburg TN haha... Seems like all my roads go through Gatlinburg TN and we love camping inside the Smoky Ntal park at ELKMONT...

We are somewhat off-road campers and the NC high country is loaded with great off-road places to camp... You can get lost back in some of those place for sure...

Gatlinburg was our original plan, but wanted to save that trip for the kids:)

Very fine quality video. I enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you! We just picked up a new camera & the drone before our last trip. I still need to work on steadying the camera a bit though...I use a monopod for still and panning shots, but walking is tough. I have something in the works for that thought:B
