Covered RV spaces near Phoenix or Yum

Is anyone aware of any RV resorts or parks that offer covered spots near Phoenix or Yuma?

Thank you.

J

  • At the KOA in Tucson they installed solar panels several years ago and park rv's under them. The only one I've ever seen that had covered spots

  • Thank you all...too bad there are not any for those who need to pass thru during the summer heat. I was told (via another forum) about a place called Happy Trails near Phoenix where private owners may rent out, just FYI.
  • Check out Happy Trails in Surprise, Az. Privately owned lots that are rented, many with canopy to park under.

  • Been in Yuma for 14 winters and don't recall ever seeing a covered site. Now on private lots out in the Foothills there many RV Ports as they are called locally.
  • Not aware of any as people don't usually camp in those areas in the summer.
