My son called and asked if they could meet up with us for Spring Break in March so we could take the grandkids to Disney World. Any suggestions on campgrounds, I contacted Fort Wilderness and several others and they are full that time of year. We have a 36-foot 5th wheel and right now we are Destin, FL for a month. Thanks.

Spring break time this late might be tough but check Tropical Palms or Sherwood Forest, plus there is also Lake Anna state park ( I think that is the one that is close). Good luck, also check out Fort Fiends for more help.

Check the KOA in Kissimee. Keep trying at the Fort.

In the meanwhile, keep calling the Fort in case someone cancels.

Spring Break at Disney is definitely our least favorite time to be at Disney. A handful of years ago our son's birthday was the Tuesday after Easter, so we decided to spend a few days in Disney for his birthday. We had no idea how bad an idea that was.

After calling Disney every day for 2 weeks, we finally got our 3 day trip pieced together. They told us we might have to move sites, but fortunately we didn't. However, we did have to check in twice because we had to make separate reservations to get all the days we wanted.

The whole month of March pretty spring break season along with spring training baseball. To the original poster if you and your family are really wanting to go Disney and can't find a spot for the rv there is always the other resorts on disney property and I have heard that they allow you to park your rv in the parking lot. It's a idea if nothing else can be found. You could check with silver springs state park as if now they are not taking reservations for sites they are letting people stay as walk up only as they are doing work on the campground

Not to steal the thread, but related, what is considered " Spring break time " . We are booked in the Keys / Ft Desota areas 2/29 thru 4/18. Just wondering when to expect the the rush...

What about Lake Louisa State Park (about 20/30mins) drive from Disney at $24/Night. On largest of chain of 13 lakes IIRC.

We've been trying all morning to find something and so far for the dates the kids area available nothing. My son would need to ask his boss tomorrow for the date. Plan B, go to next year and plan way ahead.
