Dog Friendly Park in So Calif or Central Calif Coast

What's a nice RV park to visit with dogs? I'd like something along the Calif coast where I can walk with my dogs on the beach or possibly a lake. Just looking for something quiet to get away for a few days. I have a 37' class A. Thanks
  • Try Morro Strand RV park (http://www.morrodunes.com/morro_dunes/index.html) and Morro Dunes Rv Park in Morro Bay (http://www.morrodunes.com/morro_dunes/index.html). Morro Dunes is across a dead end paved street and Morro Strand is a couple hundred feet further east.
  • Check out this site: Naturedogs. It's incredibly accurate with pictures of the different beaches and trails. There are a LOT of beaches that allow dogs on leash, and a few that allow them off leash. Shouldn't be hard to find an RV park near some of these.
  • Most of the parks along the beach are Calif State Park beaches and dogs are not usually allowed but if you go a little ways away from the main beach you can usually let the dogs loose. Half Moon Bay state beach is nice but you have to walk about 100 yards south to get outside the park boundary. Just north of there is Princeton harbor where everyone runs the dogs and lets them swim in the bay.
