dull sides on motorhome

Help! I have been washing the motorhome all day. I guess the old girl is starting to show her age. After sitting up all winter the sides have little spider cracks in the white part. They appear black. What is especially upsetting to me is, on one side of the motorhome, you can see where all the studs are. It is still white there. Looks terrible. I washed it with rv wash. Then I even tried bleach. That only made the white strips look whiter. I had some buffing wax and lightly tried that in a spot. It did not help either. Any suggestions on how to make the sides not look so dingy would certainly be appreciated.

Consider the Zep/Red Max Pro Process.
After you do the prep work, use the car wax of your choice.

and be sure to do a search for follow up on Zep. after it ages/yellows you will have to scour it off with BKF etc.

That's why I said to use the car wax of your choice. :C

I had good luck with Zep, but not everyone likes it.

  • Notify the moderator and ask to have it moved to a more appropriate forum on this site. They're usually pretty good (and speedy) about that.
  • Mitch, I realize that. Not sure how that happened since I was on motorhome forum. Don't know how to move it. Just hoping somebody will see it that might have a remedy to my problem.
  • Just went out and tried to clean a small test area with bar keepers friend. Did not work. Then I tried non scratch powdered cleanser with bleach. That did not do anything either. The bright white lines are still visable where all the studs are in the motorhome. The cleanser did not get the dirt out of the little hairline cracks either. I wish it was not like that, but that would not be so bad if it did not have about 5 bright white lines running up and down on the entire side of motorhome. I even used a rotating cleansing tool so I know I was cleaning the area well. Any other suggestions. I am at my wits end. Thanks
