Faria or Hobson in Ventura County

Hi there. We are traveling with some friends the second week of July and are looking at these campgrounds. I know it is first come first serve, but does anyone have any insight as to how hard it is to get a spot, let alone two spots next to each other? We would like to have hookups as we want to stay for a week or so. Any thoughts in this regard would be appreciated. Thank you!
