Florida/Texas?

Both Florida and Texas beaches may be over run with college kids at that time.

Spring Break, not the best time to go to the beach unless you want to join the Party.

I would recommend the Rockport, Texas area just north of Corpus Christi. It's waterfront on the bay rather than the Gulf of Mexico and is not a Spring Break destination. Much less expensive than Florida, too.

second on the Rockport area! Actually we are here now. We are originally from southern IL. Wonderful weather at that time of year and Port Aransas beach is a free ferry ride away. The rockport beach (on Little Bay) is not affected by the spring breakers. If you need more info. or have questions feel free to PM us.

Anywhere along the coast between Tampa and Ft Myers. You will not find a warmer climate during the winter.

Grab a map and check out all those wonderful Keyes that start at Tampa and continue just offshore all the way down to Ft Myers. Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key, Siesta Key, Boca Grande, Sanibel Island.

Do a Google search for the websites. Notice how they somehow manage to include the current temps.

As much as I like the Rockport - Aransas Bay area, you said beach. That's a little further down the coast, and come March, whether it is warm or not (that part is iffy) the kids are going to be partying in the beach communities.

Same for east coast of Florida, whether it is warm or not (not always warm in Daytona), once the season starts anyplace along a beach that welcomes college students will be crowded. The 2015 season starts February 21st, runs through the end of April, with the big bulge being first week of March through second week of April. In Daytona, that overlaps with Speed Weeks which starts mid-February and finishes with Bike Week up through the middle of March. Actually, that also starts late January with the Rolex 24 hours.

To be more sure of being warm, I suggest Florida West Coast from Pasco county, south. For beach, that's Clearwater and south, then again off Bradenton and Sarasota, then off Fort Myers and down to Venice. There are not very many RV parks on the beach in that area, one I know of is Red Coconut in Fort Myers Beach.

I didn't necessarily mean you had to be in a campground on those Keys. Look for places that are on the mainland but close. This stretch of Florida has terrific winter weather and it's worth the effort to try and spend a little time down there.

Tampa south on the west coast. There are plenty of campgrounds, rv parks and resorts. It just depends how far south you want to go.

Be ready to pay for the weather and the traffic in Florida south of Tampa. I have lived here for 31 years and yes it does get crowded in the winter. While we love having the visitors by April we locals are ready for them to go back.
